General Practitioner Training Scheme
The Eden Surgeries is a Training Practice, committed to the development of GPs and Nurses to support the future of the NHS primary care service.
Our Registrar GPs are qualified doctors who are transferring to General Practice, and typically spend 12 months at Eden working in a GP role to gain valuable experience.
They hold their own clinics under the tutorship of our GP trainers, and are able to deal with a wide range of medical conditions and patient concerns.
Nurse Training
Nurses undertaking a course to become a fully qualified nurse at either Anglia Ruskin University or University of Hertfordshire, come to Eden to work alongside our highly qualified nursing team and gain experience as they complete their nurse training.
Depending on ability level, the nurses will either run their own clinics or shadow our nurses as they learn on the job.
Medical Student Attachment
The University College London Medical School and the Royal Free Hospital Medical School retain our practice to train their 4th and 5th year Students. The supervising doctor will always ask your permission before you see a medical student. You are free to inform us if you do not wish to be involved with this training.
