Booking an Urgent Same-Day Appointment
- Please call on 01279 730616 from 08.15am Monday to Friday
- There is a limited number of appointments available each day - so you may be directed to NHS111 or the minor injuries unit at Herts & Essex hospital.
- You can choose either a face to face or a telephone appointment.
- You might be asked to come into the surgery if it is felt that you are seen by someone.
- You may not need to see a GP - at Eden we have a wide range of clinicians who can help you
Booking a Routine Appointment
- Please call on 01279 730616 from 10.00am Monday to Friday
- We aim to provide an appointment within 2 weeks
- You can choose either a face to face or a telephone appointment
Cancelling an Appointment
- PLEASE let us know if you can't attend so that your appointment is made available to someone else
- You can easily cancel an appointment by selecting option 3 on our appointment line and leaving a message
- Use this online form to cancel your appointment
- Frequent non-attendees will be warned that future non-attendance without notice could lead to removal from the Practice list.
General Information
- Our GP appointments are 15 mins long, giving you time to discuss your condition in full.
- We have male and female clinicians available on most days - please tell us if you have a preference
- You might be asked to come into the surgery if it is better that you are seen by someone.
- Our appointments team will ask some questions to direct you to the most appropriate clinician, This is not always a GP - it can be a nurse, or one of our specialist clinicians
- Sometimes we run late - there may have been a medical emergency - extra time will be given to you if required
- We can provide a chaperone on request - please ask when you book.
If you need help when we are closed -
- Use NHS 111 online (111.nhs.uk) or call 111.
- 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
- In the case of a medical emergency call 999.
