As a rural practice some distance from the nearest dispensing pharmacy, Eden provides a dispensing service to local patients with dispensaries located at both surgeries. The Practice policy is to make prescriptions available for collection within 72 hours of submission.
*repeat prescriptions that require renewal or are subject to a medication review by an Eden Clinician may take a little longer.
If you live more than 1 mile from your nearest pharmacy then you can choose to be either a dispensing patient and collect prescriptions from us, or you can become a non-dispensing patient who collects from an independent pharmacy.
If you live within 1 mile of a pharnacy, or live outside of the Practice catchment area, you cannot choose to be a dispensing patient.
