Practice News

This is our opportunity to update you whilst we are all socially distancing due to COVID19.

First of all we would like to thank you all for your support, especially during lock down and for sticking to the new rules, around social distancing and face coverings.

We continue to offer telephone appointments as the first point of contact and following that, should the doctor or Nurse think that it is important for them to see you face to face, they will invite you in to the Surgery.

All appointments at the surgery require patients to wear a face covering.

Please do not come to the Surgeries unless you have an appointment, if you need to make an appointment please use the telephone. Please do not leave urgent messages on the Secretaries line, this is not monitored and if you need urgent attention you should ring and queue for the reception team.

If you think that you have COVID (coronavirus) symptoms please use NHS 111 online services, please do not come to the surgery. We are trying to protect you, our staff and the wider public. Symptoms to look out for include a new cough, a temperature above 37.8C, a change in taste or smell.

We continue to offer appointments for dressings, smear tests, vaccinations antenatal clinics, child immunization and our diabetic clinics. We still have telephone appointments with our Social Prescriber (for help with non medical issues such as housing, social care, finance etc) and our First Contact Practitioners [senior physiotherapists] for muscularskeletal issues.

Special points of interest:

  • We are open
  • You can still see a GP
  • You can still have a clinic appointment
  • Medications can be collected from the Hatch at HH and the counter at HBO
